About ThinkCoin

ThinkCoin (or TCO) is a cryptocurrency that aims to drive a ground-breaking new peer-to-peer trading network called TradeConnect. The Tradeconnect network aims to democratize and decentralize the trading of any financial asset without the use of any costly intermediaries, instead allowing the involved individuals to trade directly with one another. Using the ThinkCoin platform will allow both traders and investors to trade a variety of financial products, including Forex, Equities, Precious metals (gold, platinum, palladium etc), commodities and cryptocurrencies, all using the ThinkCoin cryptocurrency designed just for this purpose!

The ThinkCoin platform looks to resolve the problems plaguing old—fashioned global trading systems, including;

1. Excessive charges: By cutting out all the intermediaries, ThinkCoin can be reduce fees to previously unheard of low levels
2. Unjust influence: The old model leads to an unfair control of the market, as brokers are able to control price, and trade execution to some degree
3. Outdated technology: The lack of flexibility of the current system is owed to decades old technology. It’s time for an update!
4. Risk: Transferring funds to a brokers account adds risk to your trades, this problem is alleviated in the ThinkCoin platform. 

Funding, Token and Distribution Plans

ThinkCoin is based on the Ethereum platform, and has a total supply of 500,000,000 TCO. Of the total supply, 300,000,000 TCO will be available for sale throughout the private sale, pre-ICO and ICO funding rounds. The project has a moderately high softcap at $5,000,000, whilst its hard cap sits at $30,000,000.

As of writing, the project is currently 2^nd phase of its pre-ICO which ends at midnight on the 15^th of May, and offers a 22% token bonus. The final phase of the token sale runs from the 16^th to the 25^th of May, and does not include a bonus. The set token price is $0.3 per token. Unlike many ICOs, the project is accepting investment in multiple currencies, including BTC, ETH , BCH , LTC and Fiat.

The project is putting up 40% (120M) of the tokens for private sale, and 30% each (90M) for the pre-ICO and ICO stages. Other than the sale allocation, 24% of the total supply will be retained within the ThinkCoin company, 15% allocated to the team, and 1% allocated to the bounty advertisement campaign.

How much potential does it have?

We believe ThinkCoin to have a very high amount of potential, and is likely to easily exceed its $5m soft cap. The project has a very well developed team consisting of 34 dedicated staff with experience ranging from business development to finance and blockchain marketing. The project also has on board more than ten strategic advisors that have been involved in numerous successful ventures prior to working with ThinkCoin.

We believe the plan for ThinkConnect to match market makers with market takers, then complete transactions off-chain while recording transaction data on-chain in a smart contract is an excellent strategy, and not one that we have seen implemented, or under development elsewhere. The platform was awarded the Best Mobile Platform by the forex industry, and currently has an MVP version of the TradeConnect app available at both the Google Play Store, and iOS App Store, indicating strong technical development of the project.

Overall, we rate this project a solid 9.5 out of 10. A strong team, excellent idea and carefully executed business strategy make this project an almost certain success. This combined with the extraordinary public hype the project has generated makes this project one to watch.
