SKYFchain - Platform for the Cargo Robotics Industry

What is SKYFCHAIN?

SKYFchain is the first B2R (Business-to-Robots) blockchain based operating platform. The project aims to provide a disruptive solution to tempt the logistics into adopting unmanned solutions in order to cut costs and increase efficiency. SKYFchain believes that unmanned cargo robots are the future of logistics, with the addressable market size for drones being around $127 billion alone.

Today, logistics processes are mostly directly controlled by humans, and those that aren’t are typically overseen by humans. SKYFchain posits that simply cutting out the human component and achieving full automation can lead to a direct 50% cost reduction in the cargo space.  To achieve this goal, SKYFchain has been developing a heavy-lift drone, powered by a gasoline engine, capable of transporting up-to 400kg loads, achieving an 8-hour flight time (at 50kg capacity). This drone, will be capable of transporting cargo up-to a maximum range of 350km, making it suitable for supplying oil-rigs, remote areas and anything in-between.

SKYFchain will first enter the logistics industry with it’s air-borne drone, following which it will begin branching out with other solutions, including sea-borne and ground-borne robots from 2020 onwards, to achieve a more complete disruption of the supply logistics sector.  

Token Sale

SKYFchain will be issuing 1.2 billion SKYFT for sale during their ICO which is scheduled to run between the 10^th of March, and 15^th of June 2018. The project targets a reasonable soft-cap of $5m, whilst its hard cap is set at $30m. Based on the fact its drone technology has already achieve soft-cap level funding from VC, we don’t foresee this project having any difficulties reaching, or getting close to its hard cap. The end ICO price will be set at $0.065 per SKYFT.

SKYFT is a utility token, which pays commissions to the platform participants. These commissions are paid as a percentage of the fees, charged for the execution of smart-contracts, and transactions, and are distributed as follows;

• 50% of fees distributed to blockchain super-node holders
• 25% to all token holders
• Remaining 25% used by the Community Development Fund for expansion

SKYFchain Risk Mitigation Strategy

Unlike many ICOs which take few, if any steps to protect the investments of their potential investors, SKYFchain has clearly addressed, and taken precautionary steps to ensure that their backers are exposed to as little risk as possible. • Buy-back program to recover $50m of SKYFchain tokens over the next 3-5 years of the project

The future of SKYFChain
